A number of local issues (issues happening on the local computer) can cause MaxLeases to appear to be running slowly:
- A virus or malware scanner is running on the computer. Make sure that if your virus scanner is set to run on a schedule that it is set to run overnight or when the computer is not in use.
- Windows Updates are being installed. Again if your Windows Updates are set be automatically installed, make sure these installs happen overnight or when the computer is not in use.
- Updates to other products. Updates to other products, notably web browsers like Firefox, and Google Chrome, may also slow a local computer. Check to see if these updates are running.
- The local PC is downloading or uploading a large document to the internet.
